sure! replace 'width: 405px;' with 'width: 100%;', like this! if you don't want the shadow on the right side, you can remove box-shadow as well.

put your image url in "bg image" for full-size, or in "bg pattern" for a repeating pattern :'D

are you grabbing the image url from tumblr? they have a different file format that makes it harder to directly link images/gifs. if the image url ends in .gifv, just change it back to .gif and it should work !
