Profile

Name: Naiad

Species: Android

Age: Unknown

Occupation: Priestess of Death

Setting: Magitech + high sci-fi.

Appearance: 1.9 meters tall. Pale. Green eyes. Bright white long hair. Moderately handsome. Barbie doll anatomy.

She's got a number of combat-scars who'se attainment backstory she can't recall. The artificial skin around them has healed but the two largest scars - a burnmark on the side of her ribcage and a massive, deep jag going diagonally all the way around her torso - still aren't completely covered, leaving the underlaying mechanical parts visible in spots.

History: Doesn't remember much of her early life. Was apparently found and repaired by [insertname] and has lived among them since then, converting into the religion of the goddess of death who'se worship mostly takes on the form of dealing with disrespect towards the dead and preaching ways to avoid the departed coming back as undead.

Aesthetics: Naiad has fixed up the outfit in which she has originally found and wears it occasionally. Had an acquaintance embroider the mark of the mayfly onto the coat. Furthermore possesses a strong preference for black and gray colors.

Can and can'tCan feel the equivalent of emotions and pain. Can't eat, but does drink and consume supplements to keep her internal systems working. Can't self-repair but her artificial skin can be made to grow and scarify with the right techniques. Possibly also has some sort of magitech powers. All-in-all isn't that different from a human, mentally speaking.

Likes and dislikes:

Naiad finds combat of all sorts pleasurable, though is unsure why that is so. Trains and mock-fights whenever possible.

Has a special fondness for insects, in particular creatures like moths, mayflies and - for some reason - centipedes. She's the person everyone else calls for when there's a spider in the room.

Neutral on the issue of death. As a death priestess thinks that it's not something she's afraid of or that she'd let herself be affected by. It remains to be seen if her disposition on the subject changes once she loses some loved ones.

Related symbology Symbology of death. NO SKULLS OR MORBID IMAGERY. It's meant to evoke the naturalness and inevitability of the end of one's life, rather than inspire fear or promise destruction. Main symbol is mayflies, minor symbols are candles, hourglasses and moths among other things.

Note: Roleplay character. Don't know much about her due to current lack of setting information. I do know that the setting's based on Nier Automata but not to which extent since I've never played the game myself.
