Judah [ lover ]

He's a heartless man (literally) who can't feel happiness, but he's immortal and immune to Savitri's poison, so she sticks around him. They make each other miserable in the beginning until they get to know each other better and their lives become deeply intertwined. She catches glimmers of his humanity and eventually falls in love with him even though he's probably the worst possible choice in terms of emotional support. She desperately wants him to reciprocate even though she knows he's incapable of it. However, she knows that despite his condition, he'd burn the world for her and she'd do the same for him. She's made it her life mission to find a way to get Judah's heart back for him.

Nadira [ "sister" ]

She was Savitri's closest friend and sister in the palace. During the city revolt, the two of them escaped only for Nadira to sacrifice herself for Savitri. She assumes Nadira died and is ecstatic to cross paths with her again years later. Savitri is more than happy to live merrily with Judah and Nadira under one roof; however, she's unaware of how deep Nadira's love for her is. Because she loved Nadira, she had always ignored the red flags and saw Nadira's possessive and abrasive behavior as quirky. It isn't until it's too late that Savitri realizes her sister has gone mad in the years they were apart.
