And who is there to listen when the shadow has to talk?

The puppet wears a carved wooden replica of Claude's face and matches her in height. Dressed in dark padded armour, a balljointed hand rests on the sword at its hip, and you keep catching glimpses of the immaterial strings suspending it in place.

A life-sized puppet in Claude's image – one the puppetmaster swears they didn't make. Claude calls her the Marionette, the Replica, and, on occasion, Marion. Dismissed when her strings are cut.
While at first, Claude saw it as a mere mocking reflection of herself, the marionette seems to be developing a bit of an attitude. This is not less upsetting for her. If you see me draw her looking suspiciously humanlike um yes you did 🙈
