Tanèbre

For his story, Tanebre is the dark part of a girl named Marihi. During her lifetime, Marihi studied at the Academy of Cestra, the Kingdom of Kingdoms. Her father, Dsaz, was a famous commander of an army of soldiers of Light, but during an assault against the terrible Queen Lita, he died in front of his best friend Byron, the bearer of the sword of Light. Marihi saw in her a need for revenge against Queen Lita.
After a few days spent in the Academy, strange events occur, students suddenly die and Marihi thinks that it is Queen Lita who is coming back for her vengeance. While she tries to fight against her nemesis, the Queen impales Marihi with her sword, Marihi succumbs.

It was at this moment that Tanebre woke up in the middle of nowhere, in a demonic world. She is rescued by a bounty hunter named Sasha, who is looking for Queen Lita, since the attack on the Cestra Academy, the soldiers of Light are very agitated and have taken the dark world hostage to find her. Sasha wants to catch her to sell her to the Light, Tanebre, with some reminiscences of Marihi, also wants to find her to take revenge for the death of her father, so she joins the rank of bounty hunter, to earn money and equipment. As Tanebre advances in her journey, she learns new information about the Queen and the assault by Dsaz and Byron. She finally learns that Queen Lita never killed Dsaz, it was actually Byron. Tanebre also discovers that Sasha was Queen Lita all along, affected by a powerful spell, her body is slowly decomposing and she needed Tanebre to do what she wanted. Lita collapses, exhausted and lacking energy, unable to tell Tanebre anymore.

Once face to face with Byron, Tanebre raises the Shadow Sword and slays her father's former best friend, her vengeance satisfied but she needed answers and only the Queen could provide them.
