Kazuya was neglected for the first part of his life, both his mother and father ignored him causing the deep-ice dragon to have to become more independent. Kazuya's den, dissimilar to the average dragon den, only held his self and his two parents, way smaller than the dens that contained hundreds of dragons. Kazuya would try his best to live on his own, though the constant hunger and insomnia made it difficult.

When Kazuya got the opportunity to attend the dragon care centre, he decided to attend without a second thought. There, the deep-ice dragon learned to create a personable facade and was finally able to make friends and talk with others. Even if he didn't need to, Kazuya took any opportunity he got to make friends with all the dragons attending the care centre so that he didn’t have to be alone. When Kazuya met Nixu, their first impressions weren't the best but after a couple years of waiting the two finally became friends which Kazuya was extremely delighted about.

Kazuya didn't want Nixu to go to Sena but after pleading from the other dragon, Kazuya did the responsible thing and got them both a prestigious letter to Sena, since he had a greater likelihood to actually get the tickets over Nixu.

Kazuya doesn't even care about going to Sena, unfortunately Nixu was were adamant about going so Kazuya decided to go as well since he wanted to stay at Nixu's side and also because he was weak to the wants of the other dragon.

It was a pain to get the Sena admission letters, but Kazuya did eventually get the letters, one for him and one for Nixu.

Kazuya is a deep-ice dragon, a combination of a dark dragon and an ice dragon. Out of the two types of dragons, Kazuya is a producer, meaning that he born with the affinity for creating elemental energy over controlling it, though Kazuya has learned and is quite proficient with manipulation of elemental energy already.

Kazuya isn't too fond of using his elemental energy though he's begun using it more since people haven't noticed the abbnormality of his ice.

Deep Ice Strike : a fairly easy ability to learn which involves surrounding your fist, legs or any other body part with a concentrated amount of elemental energy essentially strengthening your attack or defence.

      The ability is one of the first all dragons learn since it can be done throughout all elemental types. While this ability can be learned by any dragon without the right control the enhancement will be incomplete.

Separation : is the ability to separate the elements a dragon has control of, only possible with mixed dragons of two different species.

     When a dragon is mixed species, their elemental automatically fuses together but is is possible for a dragon to separate the two elements if the control is there, though by separating the elements it makes each individual element weaker, it can be useful in certain situation. Separation works like ratios, a dragon can balance the side of both their elements to suit their preferences, if a sand dragon wanted swifter sand, they may include more air, if they wanted more heavy sand, they may add more earth.

Deep Ice Ensnarement : the imprisonment of an opponent or object in ice. Usually starting from the floor, to the legs, traveling upwards until the whole person or thing is trapped in ice. 

     A classic ability that ice dragons end up learning at least once in their life, fairly easy to learn at a basic level but this ability becomes more efficient the more you improve as speed and strength also increases.

Icicle fireworks : a completely brutal ability Kazuya picked up from the coliseum, a small icicle shot into the target which ends up exploding into many shards of ice, leaving many wounds and holes in the target. 

     The ability is very painful to experience and depending on the size of the initial icicle, the size of the 'explosion' can vary. If done on a person, the firework ends up shredding through their entire body from the inside out and the result is a mangled body which is now very much dead.
