Carmella is a rather unique strudel; unnaturally tall and rather intense in appearance, many often mistake her to be a trickster. Upon initial impression of her, it doesn't seem as though her appearance bothers her much, however that is all merely a farce. Carmella is talented at hiding her emotions under quite a pleasant and charming mask. Once you're able to get past her ever prominent fangs, devilish wings, and predatory eyes it's evident that Carmella is charismatic in nature and has a way of attracting others with her demeanor. Quite the flirt, Carmella enjoys catching the attention of others with her skillful prowess in complementing and will take enjoyment in stringing them along. Before meeting Echo she was infamously known to be quite a heart-breaker although Carmella isn't the sort who purposefully enjoys hurting the feelings of others.

Carmella is quite closed off in an emotional sense and despite being so extroverted and finding it easy to strike up a conversation she actually finds that she oftentimes feels lonely deep within, as though she is lacking something beyond just her missing memories. It would take a very astute individual to notice this aspect about her as she does an excellent job covering it up with her boisterous attitude and a general sense of cheer and merriment. Truthfully, Carmella is, more often than not, tethered down by her amnesia; the idea of missing past memories troubles and worries her greatly yet she has difficulties expressing this towards others, even those she does manage to grow close to. She tries to tell herself that they'll eventually return to her but she gets more and more antsy with each passing day.

Despite her appearance and her questionable ideas of 'recreation' (partying and drinking is what she considers to be a fun time and a good escapism) Carmella actually has a good set of morals and sticks to ideals she believes to be right. She cannot stand by idly if someone around her is getting bullied or harassed and isn't afraid to confront those who do such awful things towards those weaker than themselves. Carmella is rather emotionally inclined in a sense that she easily emphasizes with others and will 'jump the gun' when it comes to impulsive thoughts and behaviors. She's the type who says whatever she wishes without any fear of repercussions. She is not above picking fights with people and, more often than not, usually comes out on top. She fights head-on and fiercely; her large fangs her best weapon to utilize in close combat. She doesn't seem to think much of her own wellbeing and, truthfully, doesn't much care about the possibilities of getting herself harmed. To defend someone's honor is noble, in her opinion, and if someone can't fight for themselves she will step in for them. She also sports a very nasty temper and is quick to rile up, which further bolsters her hasty decision making. Once she’s pissed off she’ll remain that way for quite some time; when like this it can be hard for her to be around other people without lashing out. She has difficulty letting things go (which is what led her into going down a bad path in her past).

After meeting Echo and becoming closer to her other friends consisting of Elvira, Angstonio, Kimi, and Cordelia, she learns how to loosen up more emotionally and becomes a bit happier with herself, living more within the moment as a result. She starts to worry less about her past although it still haunts her a good bit within the realms of her dreams. Carmella learns to grow confident from her friendships and forms feelings of trust and love, no longer the distant Strudel she was when she first woke up with amnesia in the woods. Carmella begins to believe more and more that nothing is impossible with her friends by her side but won't verbally admit to such as she's still not quite yet fond of "sappiness" and sentimentalities.

Carmella has a penchant for magic and while, initially, didn't harbor a huge interest for it, quickly grows intrigued by it after attending the Magic Academy. She begins to suspect that magic may have had something to do with her past due to the fact that it seems to come to her so naturally and that her abilities are rather powerful in nature. She begins to formulate a plan to study all the fields of magic in hopes that it may shed some light on her missing memories she's been so desperate to reclaim.
