Emri

"All I have to do is help them with their short, little lives. What is there to learn?"

Emri is nice and caring but is no pushover, and will show anger when pushed to their limits. She can often act sassy and sarcastic when stupidity is thrown in her face. She often hangs around mortals when finding something to do, but only when using her disguise form to avoid problems with being a legend and all.

“Slay before saving the day” attitude. She needs to look good before she goes on to save people. She doesn’t really like her job as a legend since it gets really messy, but likes the status of being one.

She’s known as the legend of beauty, one who brings eternal youth, but she can’t actually grant that kind of power to anyone.

ABILITY:

Emri can create and manipulate flowers, as well as shapeshift to a different form to hide her true identity when interacting with mortals, which she often does. She also has the power to give mortals additional powers, bring living mortals to the spirit realm, see oncoming deaths, and make small, portal-like energies to “view” current or past events as all legends can do.

Almost a thousand years ago, Emri was trying to help save a mortal, but messed up her duties and ended up getting the mortal killed. That’s also where Emri got her scar that she has now. Her mistake wasn‘t punishable enough to get sentenced to death, but it did cause her to lose access from the Inbetween by the higher-ups- at least until they think Emri has improved herself.

After getting banned, Cataclysm brought Emri to the mortal world to stay with him. She hated the idea due to not being too fond of mortals, but Cataclysm was very insistent. Not wanting him to cause another outburst of destruction, Emri reluctantly agreed.

Cataclysm‘s persistence of making Emri join his little visits amongst mortals has made her take a little liking to mortals. She stills thinks they’re nothing compared to legends, but acknowledged that there might be more to them than she thought.

After growing a bit of a liking to mortals, Emri has even started dating a few. One of them being Phyre, though she quickly ended things with the mortal after realizing how toxic she was.

Emri would sometimes hang around mortals in her disguise form, but not as much as Cataclysm does. She’s mostly just looking around to see how much has changed over the years, taking quite an interest in how they live.
