Russel The Mega Lucario // Level 95 // Male

Since he was but a tiny, hyperactive Riolu, Russel has been a fighter. He would wrestle and tackle his brothers and sisters constantly, and always seemed to come out on top. After evolving and leaving behind his life with his family, he sought out to become the strongest Pokemon there is. He was a good fighter, but he could be overconfident at times. He had often challenged legendary Pokemon, such as Deoxys and Mewtwo, and failed to defeat them, causing him great distress and aggravation. He often became infuriated with himself for losing, blaming it all upon not training hard enough, and being too weak to top those who he was certain he had it in him to defeat.

After one particularly harsh defeat, Russel lost himself to his fury, and sought to attack anyone in his path. Two such unfortunate souls were a trainer and their own Lucario, who were mercilessly beaten at until the trainer forced their Lucario to withdraw and fled, dropping belongings, meanwhile, that had been torn off as Russel berated the pair. This way, Russel obtained a Lucarionite and the key stone necessary for mega evolution, just what he required to unlock his true potential. He clicked the keystone onto his wrist, then proceeded to swallow the Lucarionite, permanently binding it to his form. With these two components, he hasn't returned to his original form since, thusly sending him into a daze of madness complete with limitless power.

• Russel is a violent, senseless Pokemon. He originally only sought to attack and conquer.
• Russel has been captured and has broken free of capture numerous times, thus the chains around his neck and wrist.
• Eventually, Russel encounters Myles, of whom which is strong enough to subdue him. Myles has to do this quite a few times, actually, before Russel finally ceases his senseless battering and Myles is able to make discussion with the lucario rather than fighting with him.
• Russel ends up under the care of Myles, who is attempting to help him gain control of himself in his mega state and to set goals beyond fighting to the top. In the midst of this, the pair begin to develop romantic feelings for one another.
