BACKSTORY:

Cherry was raised by her adoptive guardian, Florence, after being found seemingly abandoned as a fledgling. She has never cared to learn the identity of her biological parents.

Years later, a now adult Cherry heard rumours of a monster living in the forest near her hometown. Determined to prove that it wasn't real, she headed into the forest, only to encounter a vicious dragon named Crowley. Against all odds, she developed an unhealthy crush on Crowley and spent the next few years travelling with him, determined to change his ways, while he forced her to help him commit various crimes.

Eventually, Cherry decided that she'd had enough. She ran away, and now lives with a gentle dragon named Glade. She still struggles with the reality of her crush on Crowley and the terrible things he did, but is slowly healing.

A timid dreamer who hides a core of steel. Cherry can easily be brushed off as weak, shy and fragile, but beneath the surface, she is a surprisingly strong-willed and determined person. She is protective and caring, not above sacrificing her own comfort for others' sake. Though quiet, she is far tougher than people give her credit for and will grimly soldier on even when exhausted or injured.

She wants more friends, but it takes her a long time to warm up to others due to her shyness and past abuse. It's easy for her to be emotionally hurt and she tends to take things personally. Because of her past, ill-advised crush on Crowley, she no longer trusts her heart and is afraid of falling for the wrong person again, causing her to become angry at herself whenever she likes someone. In general, she believes herself weak and easily controlled, which she hates.

Cherry isn't normally short-tempered, but she can become irritable and snappy when upset. She has a tendency to cry when feeling any powerful emotion, whether it be anger, sadness, frustration, or joy. She also has a strong motherly side and has expressed interest in someday having children of her own.

RELATIONSHIPS:

 Crowley

Her former 'boss'. He forced her to help him with various unpleasant tasks, such as killing people. Despite his psychotic behaviour, Cherry had a major crush on him and believed she could make him a better person. She did, however, leave him after a few years.

Glade

Cherry and Glade met shortly after she fled from Crowley. It took her a long time to trust him, but eventually Glade's gentle patience paid off. In the future, they become a couple.

DESIGN:

Cherry is a small dragon with pink scales, green neck plating, and dark-green eyes. Her wings are feathered despite the rest of her body being scaled. She is slightly overweight, which isn't very noticeable, but gives her a more soft and rounded appearance with few defined bones.
