The Early days!

Prior to his current form, Neo used to be a lil fox mascot/pet that was part of a human "robin hood-like" bandit group. His family used to steal from the rich to help their hometown village to survive. From stealing from mean people to helping out in the village, Neo took his role as guardian very seriously, even if people were busy petting him. Everything was fine and happy, even after he ate some weird octopus thingy that made him look different. It was a simpler time until one day his family got ambushed by another group and were taken away. Neo tried to look for them everywhere, but alas could not find them. Despite being missing he still took his job as a guardian of the village seriously, and for the next 99 years remained in the village, only to leave once he was sure they could survive on their own.
