Oleander comes from a small family of magicians and wizards in a climate where the sun was harsh and the desert stretched on for miles. Alongside their brother, they grew up practicing the art of magic and alchemy, brewing and concocting all kinds of magical potions for the sick or wounded. As they grew older, they experimented with far more dangerous and volatile potions for the strong and powerful who sought to overcome great obstacles. Among their clients, Oleander is considered to be as charismatic as they are sharp witted and silver tongued. Among their peers, they are considered a genius, or a distasteful example of magical research gone too far.
They've even gone as far to test new potions on themself, resulting in a tongue that permanently glows blue in the dark.
