Sigmund Vernon (Relationship w/ Lucien)

For now I just have a bullet list of ideas that should play out. The list isn't complete but it features some ideas for their relationship.

• After spending a lot of time with Lucien, Sigmund has come to like him, but he doesn’t know if it remains platonic or is if would more than that. He wants to deny a romantic possibility though. He says he just really enjoys Lucien’s company, since they have a few things in common and he likes to talk to him.
  
  
• Sigmund has taken Lucien out to karaoke a couple times, once even with his other friends; a group of 3 other people around his age. But it is when the two go together by themselves is where Sigmund seems a little more on edge for some reason and he can’t explain why. He feels more aware of Lucien’s presence..
  
  
• Lucien thinks Sigmund is the best at giving advice, either about work or about regular life as well. He’s asked Sigmund about things concerning his step bro when he acts up or something xD Though he does notice the advice gets more vague when Lucien asks about relationships and romance, and Sigmund brushes it off as not having enough experience to tell anything useful.
  
  
• Hmmm for now I guess Lucien would fall for Sigmund since he likes his personality, and he likes being near him. This needs more specific thought into it lmao ;;
  
  
• So eventually Lucien would confess his feelings to Sigmund. When Sigmund hears it, he is stunned. He doesn’t seem to accept it at first, and he tries to brush it off in a smooth manner, but Lucien persists, saying his feelings for him are serious. Sigmund starts feeling a little uncomfortable, since he’s blocked himself from romance for so long. although the situation now is different than the one in his past, he couldn’t help but think of the current in a similar matter. He starts thinking, “Why me? What’s so good about me?”
  
  
• After the confession Sigmund tries to distance himself from Lucien gradually. Sometimes he’d act cold too, or brush over things so sharply, it’ll leave Lucien confused. Sigmund doesn’t wish to do so, but he just wanted to protect himself. However it doesn’t feel good to see Lucien sad either.
  
  
• Lucien eventually gets to hear about that incident in Sigmund’s past, but not from him, instead he hears it from Vincent. He and Vincent were hanging out one day after Vincent was done practicing his singing but he couldn’t help but notice Lucien seemed down and was sighing a lot. When he asked why, Lucien started to complain about Sigmund’s distance. Nico was lurking around (as usual lol) but hears this too so he comes out of his lurking spot (which slightly surprises Vincent since he's usually not aware of Nico’s lurking about, only Sigmund  and Lucien are). So Vincent decides to let Lucien over to his place (and Nico too since Nico insists lol) so they could speak privately and well Vincent ends up telling Lucien that story. Lucien felt really bad for Sigmund, but he also understands now why Sigmund’s attitude had changed. He thanks Vincent profusely for telling him this info.
  
  
• Sometimes Sigmund would drive Vincent home after a day of practice.  One day (after the previous bullet) Sigmund drops Vincent home but this time Vincent lingers a little longer than usual.  Sigmund was about to ask why he wasn't getting out of the car them suddenly Vincent hugs him and Sigmund is caught by surprise.   It was just a quick hug but when Sigmund asks why he did that, Vincent says he just wants to “thaw the ice in his heart”, and then he leaves the car, leaving Sigmund confused. 
• e v e n t u a l l y Sigmund would come to like Lucien a L O T but would still be in denial of his feelings. It's starting to drive him crazy (not that literally)

Sigmund here had a bad romance experience during high school and since then he's been afraid of getting too close to others and the idea of love in general. He doesn't let this get in the way of his work though  since he puts up a more confident front for it, but in his personal time he's more closed off and seems to be content with his loneliness. He does have a few friends that he goes out with sometimes but he wouldn't talk to them about personal things, they're more of a casual outlet. For a long while he lived this way until he meets a certain somebody named Lucien :0

They start becoming friends for a while since they had very similar occupations and would talk about and compare their experiences often, then they branched off into other topics and whatnot. But later on  Lucien started to really like Sigmund and then he confessed his feeling to him when he felt ready. Upon hearing that, Sigmund froze. He started to feel slightly uncomfortable but for some reason he couldn't say anything about it. Since then his relationship with Lucien felt more strained; he genuinely liked Lucien's company but couldn't stop thinking about his confession. Lucien then noticed something was off and tried to ask Sigmund about it but Sigmund just vague it off each time. 

It then took a turn to Sigmund trying to pull away from Lucien because he couldn't understand his own thoughts. He thought maybe if he wasnt near him, he would feel better, but at the same time he doesn't want to lose him, as a friend, or whatever he was becoming. He felt bad when he had to turn Lucien down for lunches or meeting up. Lucien got more concerned and tried to confront Sigmund on why he was acting so strange, and one day Sigmund got mad (or just rly irritated??) and told him to leave him alone. Lucien was shocked but reluctantly complied. 

The two havent seen each other for a while and Sigmund missed him, but he wasn't going to start going to him first since he got mad. He missed being in Luciens company a lot and his heart and mind were going two different directions. He didn't know why he was feeling this way. One day Sigmund happened to meet someone he knew from high school, they weren't close friends but the other guy was also involved as a victim in the bad romance experience. They talked for a bit about how things were going. Apparently the other guy is a therapist in the area, and he told Sigmund he could talk to him about anything if he wanted to. 

Sigmund ended up taking up on that offer later on and he spoke to the guy about everything between him and Lucien. After hearing what he had to say, it's possible to say that Sigmund had feelings for Lucien and like him back. Sigmund denied it, saying that couldn't be it. But the othe guy said it's possible for things to change. He told Sigmund to think about it for a while. And that he did. He tried to think back on everything that happened between them, and the way he felt through it all. It takes a good while of it but eventually he comes to realize that he does like Lucien. 

When he got more comfortable with the thought of liking him, Sigmund decided he would come clean and tell Lucien everything that was going on. One day Lucien contacted ted him first and asked to meet up, and Sigmund saw this as a good sign. However, Lucien came to say that he would give up trying to pursue him, and he felt sorry for making him uncomfortable. Sigmund didn't know want to think. The opposite of what he expected happened instead.

For a while Sigmund didn't know what to do or feel while he worked. He felt sad, confused, maybe he figured himself out too late. Its awkward seeing Lucien from afar. His heart aches and this time he acknowledges it. Things were like this for a couple weeks or so

Then one day Sigmund got a contact from Lucien asking if he could meet him up somewhere to talk. Sigmund was hesitant because he didn't know what would happen but he accepted and met with him. When they meet it was quiet at first but then Lucien says he's sorry he said what he did last time, but he just couldn't give up on him that easily, and he still liked him a lot, maybe more then ever. Sigmund was surprised and inside he felt a little happy hearing that, but he was scared too, so his initial reaction made him sound hesitant. Then Lucien tells him he knows about that school romance issue, that he heard it from Vincent and he understands now why he was acting so strange. Sigmund eyes widened and he looked away, a little embarrassed. Lucien insists he wouldn't treat him the way that girl did years ago and he swears on it. Sigmund smiles faintly but wouldn't look him in the eye. Lucien reaches over and holds his arm which makes Sigmund look at him.  Lucien says he promises what he said.  Sigmund still hesitates and Lucien insists himself further, and then Sigmund admits he's still scared about the whole thing, about all the feelings and his internal conflicts... but he also admits his feelings for Lucien. He likes him but he's still scared about the whole relationship thing, so Lucien goes to hug him gently and he could feel Sigmund shake slightly and could hear him sniffling and when he looks up at him he saw few tears run down Sigmunds face. Lucien hugs him until he calms down, and then he feels Sigmunds arms hug him back. Lucien looks at him again and sigmund has a small smile and whispers "I like you". Lucien smiles back and whispers back "I like you too. " 

(Some things may need more fleshing out and some things were worded vaguely and I left out some details (like toward the end cuz I wrote so much already lol)  but this is it so far for him too, so much words lol sry this got sooo long;;  I think I outlined this routes arc instead lmao but rly the change is Sigmund slowly learning to love someone again)
