•  Asami ends up adoring Yuta and sees her more like family than just a friend 

Asami is from a large pack who live in the forests near the mountains, she is a mother of two pups who she adores. Her mate never returned from a hunting trip but she raises her two sons by herself with the support of her pack really well. However, when they accidentally go into Lumanshi territory everything changes. Lumanshi’s are extremely territorial and unfortunately they also had young at the time which means they are even more aggressive. Despite the pack not presenting a threat to them they get attacked. Asami’s sons are both killed instantly and knowing she cannot do anything about it and would not survive being poisoned Asami runs into the forest. 

Having her heart absolutely broken she wanders around alone, half wishing for death. She ends up entering a very dark headspace and contemplates deliberately sacrificing herself so she can be with her sons again. It's during one of these periods she sees Yuta for the first time. Yuta is alone and she assumes if she attacks her then she might retaliate and kill her. So she braces herself and leaps from the bushes where she pins Yuta to the ground and stamps down on her muzzle, rendering Yuta completely defenceless. In pure shock Yuta does not actually attack her and instead cowers. When she realises Yuta’s blind and doesn't really know what's going on Asami gets off her and they have an argument before Yuta leaves. However, they meet up again and end up teaming up as they have to fight together and they realise that actually they worked really well together.
