Shinodori

Shinodori is a well known dancer and choreographer, who also dabbles in modeling and often collaborates with other artists. They love surrounding herself with high energy people and living the life they never imagined they could. He lives a content life in an appartament, often indulging herself in buying useless stuff with her disposable income. She's perfectly content with ignoring her trauma and hiding as much as possible about her past, but it does creep up on her sometimes.

Beginning

Shinodori doesn’t remember her life before they become a foxtopus. As far as he was aware, waking up in a small wooden room, surrounded by others like her, was her moment of birth. What the young fox found themself to be in was a new formed village , which through another mysterious foxtopus, found out how the species comes to be. With that and the danger coming from the rival clan, the humans decided to start ‘artificially’ creating foxtopi through feeding foxes found poptopi to create a group of strong, supernatural fighters that would serve and protect the village. Shino and the other foxtopi were trained to be Blade Dancers, as it was tradition in the clan, though the humans didn’t bother to treat the young warriors like their own, still seeing them as just animals, often pushing them far beyond what they were capable. Surprisingly though, Shino really enjoyed the dancing part, and it became something to ease their mind with after the physically and mentally grueling training.

Family

Among the group of foxtos, Shino took the role of a big sibling, taking on the responsibility of caring for the weaker ones and even taking punishment for them if it came to it. Pushing themself to perfection, they became one of the best and most battle-efficient of the blade dancers, wanting to take the pressure off of others, but deep down inside also craving for the praise and momentary acknowledgement of his masters. She dreamed of someday having the spotlight all to themself, being praised for her abilities, and not having to bear the burden of being responsible for keeping their ‘family’ together.

Breaking point

Many years passed though, and Shinodori lost many loved ones she couldn’t protect, and grew more and more resentful towards the humans for pushing them to such lengths yet still treating them like lower beings, disregarding how much more powerful they really were. The loss of a close friend who they couldn’t keep alive due to limited medical supply from the village finally confronted Shino with the reality that the treatment would never change, no matter how hard they all tried and how hard they fought for them. So next time, when the clan needed protection the most, they would find themselves with none.

Freedom

The foxtopi hurried into the night, leaving behind the burning village. The rival clan attacked again, but this time there was no one there to stop them. Shinodori and her brethren soon split up, all wanting to find a new life for themselves somewhere far away. And so the ‘big sister’ was no longer needed, and was left wandering, struggling to find purpose outside of what they were used to - protecting loved ones. So she did what always brought her peace of mind - danced. Travelling from one corner of the world to another, she slowly found the appreciation he always desired. Finally, people started admiring her abilities, not for what she could do for them.
