Sol runs a fairly well-known countrywide supernatural consultation agency under the name Halcyon; while nominally dealing with spiritual problems such as possessions and hauntings, a great majority of the people who frequent it also say they believe in the concept of wishes. Rumours say that the proprietor possesses supernatural powers, and can grant you your dearest wish for a price...
Childhood
Sol was abandoned when she was very young, discovered as a wailing infant in the bushes in a small, rural town. The woman who found her was devoutly religious, having herself been taken in and converted by a missionary after her husband abandoned her for another. She believed that this must be a directive from God, and instead of sending the baby to an orphanage, she took her in and named her Jisung, deciding to raise her like her own child. By the time she was old enough to go to school, the Fleuros characteristics had begun to make themselves apparent. Afraid that the neighbors would think her child was a evil spirit, the woman told Jisung to hide her bone tail and ears, and she did for as long as she could.
Despite this, Jisung thought herself no different from any of the other children β until one day a friend came to school sobbing and inconsolable. Her older brother had come home demanding money for his business venture, threatening and pleading as he always did, only to leave in disgust when her parents had none to give him. Jisungβs heart burned with anger for her friend, and she prayed with all her might that justice would come. That very night, the mountainside where the business was located was ravaged by a wildfire, on the coldest day of the year. The news called it a freak accident, but Jisung instinctively sensed it wasn't true, that she had somehow caused the fire. It was then that the twelve-year-old made a decision: she would use her powers for good. Her mother had told her that God granted some people great powers to use them for His purposes, and she was clearly one of them.
The next day, Jisung immediately ran to her best friend Hwanwhi and told her the whole story. While she didn't believe her at first, her skepticism vanished after Jisung granted a few experimental wishes, and the two began to plan what to do next. However, they weren't the only ones β a local agent of a network that specialised in the trafficking of profitable supernatural creatures had taken notice of the strange events happening in a certain small town. He was young and cocky, with a few early successes under his belt, and thought he could take a callow teenaged Fleuros easily enough: so instead of calling for backup to subdue his target, he chose to keep the fact for himself so he could take all the profit for himself. He ambushed the two as they walked home from school, knocking Hwanwhi unconscious before abducting Jisung and escaping.

Sol is fundamentally an optimist, believing that she can and should help people with the wishes she grants. As a benevolent genie of sorts, she always tries to interpret even the worst wishes in the best way possible β sheβs a ruthless manipulator of loopholes, yes, but from her point of view it's only ever to help people. Sheβs canny and insightful like only the old can really be, and itβs often impossible to tell whether her poise and confident cheer is sincere or not. Dutiful and even singleminded when on a case, Sol has a great deal of pride in her work, and becomes uncharacteristically irritable when the wishes she grants end up having bad consequences; itβs best to avoid her if this happens.

βΎ Sol's androgyny used to bother her as a teenager, but changing gender views have made her gone from not minding it to actively incorporating it into her image. She/her pronouns are used for this page for consistency purposes, but Sol uses them interchangably and is known by different gender identities to different people.
βΎ Sol's tail is partly prehensile and flexible enough to curl it up against her back so she can hide it within her long jacket if necessary. It's denser and heavier than human bone and stronger than it looks, being held together with magic instead of tendons or muscles; it can easily support her weight and that of a second or even third person.
βΎ Granting one wish can take anywhere from 6 months to 10 years of the wisherβs lifespan, depending on the strength of the wish and the consequences incurred; Solβs tail is intact, so she can grant stronger wishes than some, as well as use the lifeforce she collects to perform powerful acts of magic.
βΎ Sol dislikes appearing any younger than 20 or so because it makes her feel like a creep. With her intact magical connection preserving her from the inside out, one wish every few months is enough to keep her physical form at its current age; any excess power she harvests from granting wishes goes into her store of magic for later use.

A tentative ally to Sol's efforts to sabotage TUΓFΓI, Non may be a notorious crimelord, but Sol has never been the type to look a horse in the mouth. It helps that all the information she's been given has been legitimate so far, even if the agent she provided is rather chary.
Ilyich [ potential ally ]
Almost all of TUΓFΓI's bases lie deep within Ilyich's territory, and the triad leader doesn't appreciate intrusions. Sol has never met her personally, but her criminal reputation precedes her; Ilyich is a dangerous enemy, and Non has warned her not to risk a direct confrontation if at all possible. Sol privately believes that it won't be impossible to sway her, but out of respect for Non's cooperation she intends to abstain for now.
