BLACKBERRY WHISPERS
Parselings a deck-based TTRPG created by Paper Cactus Games that has a focus on character and collaboration. In Parselings, individuals who have been infected by an inky parasite called a "Parsecyte" develop word tattoos over their body that reflect how the world views them, and by combining these Words with another "Parseling's" Words, they can alter the world around them in unique ways.
Blackberry Whispers is a Parselings campaign run by novamallow. The world mirrors our modern setting and takes place primarily in and around the city of Silkscar, an almost surreal place home to many Parselings. North of it, a huge spell (known as a Parse) has just been cast, and its lingering energy reverberated across the region, gaining the attention of Parselings all over. The six player characters arrive at or return to Silkscar together, each with different reasons but all with the mysterious Divine Parse on their minds.
People's Perception
The first impression people get when meeting Livi is that she’s very sociable and friendly, always doing her best, and is often seen helping out older or much younger folk out in public. She can seem dumb as a bag of rocks to some, especially when it comes to any technology outside of her phone, but she genuinely seems to care about people and doesn’t seem to show that her ignorance stops her.
Though when talking to her, you can see that she is very gentle. She seems to know just how to talk to someone to help them out. People can tend to flock to her when they have emotional problems knowing she can help.

History
Livi was born to her mother, not knowing which of the many men who her mother was with was her dad. Her mom didn’t have much, so Livi a lot of the time had to go without growing up. Later, when Livi was six, her mother got pregnant with another man, having her younger brother Levi. Later, with that same man, having Lucas. Livi was immediately thrusted upon being the “good older sister” and having to take care of them when her mom was too busy or didn’t want to.
Later having that responsibility put on for her two younger brothers Landon and Elijah. (from a third man) Eventually it became too much work for Livi to end up handling, and she stopped school at 16, quickly finding a job to take care of the boys and her mother who doesn’t seem to care.
Currently, that is mainly what Livi is stuck doing with life. She is trying to save up what little she can to one day move out of the chaos, and get her GED so she can go learn some sort of trade and make something of herself, but really as much as she loves her brothers, she can use any excuse to get away from them.
Campaign
Livi was hanging out at a park in the town of Gracefield, where she met up with two new strange individuals. Petri and Elliot. She interrupted Petri's attempt to break into places, though it wasn't real appreciated. Though it was quickly interrupted by a strange energy. Petri concluded it came from the town of Silkscar.
Livi decided to go with Petri and Elliot, to find out what that weird parse energy was. though before they could get far, they end up meeting up with three others. Daisy, Robbie, and Hemlock. The two groups decided to travel together from that point forward, to try and solve this. Though Livi chose to take this as an opportunity to get away from home, and maybe find a new life.
Though of course, she didn't tell her family about her leaving, so she finds she concerned a young one in her family. Who may not be willing to let her go that easily.

Rock
Rock seems like a simple word at first. You can make a rock. But there's more to that. Rocks are solid and strong, you can become strong like a rock. You can rock things back and forth as well.
Fire
You can burn things! You can also fire someone up! Or create a light. Fire also seems simple like rock at first, but there are many different things you can do with it.
Augments
Handy
Handy is...well, a real handy word. You can add it to almost anything to make it more useful. Alternatively you can add a bunch of hands to something! Terrifying.
Dense
Dense can mean heavy, making something very heavy. Dense can also mean thick. Like making a thick jelly, or a thick forest vegetation.
Press
You can press things. Push them to the side if you need to. You can also push things down, press on them, add weight to them. Huh a lot of her words have to do with adding weight.

Elliot
[ Friend ]
Livi promised Elliot's mom that she would take care of him, and she's inclined to keep that promise. She does genuinely care for the young boy though, and treats him like she treats her little brothers. Doing anything she can to protect him.
Daisy
[ Acquaintance/friend? ]
Livi sees some sort of potential of a friend in Daisy, but Daisy seems pretty resistant to open up. Even with many tensions Daisy's gotten in the group, she still wants to try and be the gals friend.
Petri
[ Friend ]
While Livi and Petri did not start out on the right foot, with the two ended up fighting a little at first. But Livi wanted to make sure she made it up to Petri. So now that Petri is cool with her, they do seem to be getting along a lot better.
Robbie
[ Friend ]
Robbie and Livi both kind of just hit it off pretty easily, and the two got along pretty well from the moment they met. After learning about Robbie's sister being missing, she decided she wanted to help him find her, no matter what it takes.
Hemlock
[ Friend ]
Livi thinks Hemlock is very cool and at first, kinda mysterious. But now she realizes they're just a goofball and she thinks they're very fun to hang around often.
Antimony
[ Friend/Slight Crush? ]
Antimony came to Livi's help in fighting an incoherent. Antimony also helped Livi learn more about being a parseling and gave her a bit more confidence in thinking for herself a bit. Livi also thinks she's very cute, hehe.
