Story

History

Antimony was a member of the Vision Paragraph until its dissolution. She and the other members explored the possibilities and limits of Parsing while learning more about Parsing itself. Molly was particularly close to her fellow members Molly and Yami. The Paragraph Collapsed as its members learned more and grew different opinions on the world of Parselings. Molly claims the group fell apart when they reached a decision point and couldn't agree on how to move forward.

Antimony was more invested in the well-being of the Paragraph and its members than anyone else; she considered them like family, as it was a place for her to belong. When the Paragraph Collapsed, Antimony was most drastically affected; she lost most of her remaining Coherency and almost died, her body transforming into clouds. Molly—together with Yami, Dr. Hirschel, Brooke, and Rain—Parsed to help stabilize Antimony's body. This was, however, the last time Molly or Antimony saw Yami, as Yami thereafter vanished without a word. Antimony was particularly devestated by not just the group's dissolution but Yami's disappearance as she was left wondering if Yami was even still alive.

Despite the Parse that stabilized her body, her relationship with her Parsecyte remained unstable. Certain emotions or states of mind cause her body to dissociate into clouds; if not too extreme, she can ground herself, or she may need some help. If untreated, she moves towards Incoherency. She manages to live her life despite this dangerous impediment; some time after the Collapse of the Paragraph, she and Molly created a home on the southern border of Besom Forest; their residence is also their storefront.

Campaign

Antimony wasn't there when the party visited her home for the first time, but she was the next day, after the party gained information from Savitri about Yami. Giving Antimony all of this information at once caused her to immediately start physically dissociating; Molly helped ground her, but she remained emotionally fragile during the scene. After the party and the shopkeepers discussed possible keys to Yami's door, Antimony made some potions with the party before Daisy and Liviana wandered into Besom under the influence of an Incoherent. Unaffected, Antimony followed the two, snapping Daisy out of her trance and sending her back before going on to find Livi being attacked by two Incoherents; both Antimony and Livi got injured, but managed to slay them. Annie listened to Livi talk about her life path, and she helped encourage Livi to make her own path, with the help of her loved ones. The two continued to talk about Parselings and Incoherency before making it back to Annie's shoppe, whose front had been burnt down. Livi helped Molly and Annie partially repair the house before Molly took Livi back into Silkscar.

Enchantment

Annie can imbue any object whatsoever with a whole range of different effects, essentially "magic-ifying" anything! Her primary use for this Word is in creating potions, her main occupation!

Antimony's glimpse into Incoherency saw the emergence of this Word as her Concept. Despite the heavy implications concerning this Word and her eventual fate, Antimony puts Cloudy to good use in a variety of ways, with its ability to generate cover, create mental confusion, or give something airy qualities.

This Word also brings a similar amount of distress to Antimony concerning her Coherency, but Antimony uses this Word for similar yet distinct purposes from Cloudy.

Relationships

MOLLY

[ Roommate ]

Molly and Antimony are close friends who were in the Vision Paragraph together and remained close even after its collapse. Through Parsing, they make bombs and potions together. Antimony manages to handle all of Molly's crassness and teasing, balanced by how caring Molly is when the two are more vulnerable.

YAMI

[ Friend... ]

Antimony was very close with Yami when they were in the Vision Paragraph together, but the Parse that helped stabilize Annie was the last time she saw Yami. Having disappeared without a goodbye, Yami left Annie missing her badly. Now that Annie knows that Yami is still out there, Annie wants to see her again more than ever.

LIVIANA

[ Friend ]

Antimony and Liviana got off to a very friendly start when they met! Their affable relationship soon after strengthened when Annie helped save Livi from Incoherents, and Annie encouraged Livi to forge her own path in life. Annie couldn't help but flirt with Livi, just a little bit.

Additional Information

Antimony has very low Coherency, but struggles to keep it stable unlike many others with similarly low Coherency. When lost in her own thoughts, her figure seems to waver or become cloudy, and it becomes hard to observe her form unless staring directly at her. This intensifies during stressful times, during which she risks losing Coherency further. Regardless of her mental/emotional state, her eyes appear visibly cloudy.

The stains on her apron are now inert and do not confer any potion effects.

Antimony always labels her potion and often color codes them as well. She always wears proper personal protective equipment. Unlike her roommate.

Antimony is a chemist, and she is named after element 51, antimony. In alchemy, antimony represents the animalistic spirit inside mankind.
