Sgt. Geiger

Geiger was always an energetic and playful creature. He would spend time in junkyards or other messy areas, since he enjoyed searching through the copious amounts of interesting items. He often made enemies with the wrong animals, so he quickly learned how to defend himself. He would eat any and all scraps of food he found. Though not a wise choice, it hadn't backfired (yet).

One day, he was searching through a landfill for food when he noticed a bright green light from behind a heap of metal. When he investigated, he found a wide variety of sea creatures, covered in a glowing green goo. Beside the creatures was a large metal container painted yellow, with a strange symbol on the side. The creatures smelled normal—just like the trash he usually eats—so he gobbled them up and happily continued on his way.

Post-Poptopus

Geiger felt perfectly fine after eating his afternoon snack—until he didn't. A few hours after the initial consumption Geiger began getting violently ill. This sickness persisted for an entire century, until the fox found himself standing on two feet, looking signifigantly less fox-like.

Enrollment

Geiger was lost, having entered a world he knew nothing about. So, he followed the first thing he saw: an 1800s army recruitment poster. He joined the army in high spirits, and has stayed that way ever since. He was extremely skilled in and out of combat, and always worked hard, but his unruly nature has kept him from progressing past Sergeant.
