- Through her deal with Sera, she gained stronger offensive magic and illusionary magic at the cost of her connection with nature
- Instead of taking away her pain, Sera made it so Lian couldn't feel love at its fullest capacity... in the hopes that Lian would eventually drive herself crazy from feeling like something is missing
- Sera also gave her severe memory problems by blotting out most memories of the people she had loved and lost, but in typical Sera-fashion, Lian can juuuust barely remember them--their names are always on the tip of her tongue
- Even after voiding her deal with Sera, there are still memories Lian can't regain because she naturally forgot them over time (Sera is the gift that just keeps on giving!)
