Profile

a pair of demons, viscerally in love. they were once separate beings, wreaking havoc in entirely different circles of hell. the First rested in the fifth circle, and was known as a terrible shapeshifting beast. she would lurk beneath the soil, waiting for bloodthirsty warriors to dare and cross her, before bursting out of the ground and rending them to shreds. she was a being that desired nothing but thrill, and bloody violence. her form was never consistent; always shifting and melting away, shaping thousands of hands, tendrils, mouths, teeth, and eyes. not quite unlike polymeliask, a demon from the same stock, but even less solid than she. the First was still bound by flesh and bone, as much as she could mould it. despite this weakness, she was formidable and feared.

the Second was a younger demon, an immortal warrior from a higher circle. she and her crusadors stumbled into the fifth, steel and teeth bared and ready for battle. she was an immortal being, who would crash herself into battle, only to turn to worms upon her death, and hibernating deep in the ground to resurrect later. the Second stumbled upon the First by chance, and the two sparked a constant rivalry. each and every time, the Second would be slain, suffering hundreds of gruesome deaths at the hands of the First. after centuries of battles, the two had become inseparable, gravitating towards each other as soon as the Second burst out of the ground. they would trudge through the mud without hesitation, knowing deep within their hearts where the other would be waiting for them. until one day, the Second arrived, bearing no sigil of resurraction on her back.

the First did not want to lose her rival, the one who had brought her such excitement and obsession. in a fit of desperation, she tore her claws into her, and pulled her into her own massive, grotesque body. flesh melding to the Second’s wounds like a scab, the two merged into one being, and have remained that way ever since. now, amygdala, the being of love and carnage, reign in chaos over the endless marshes of hell, and leave nothing but death in their wake.
