SandStone

SandStone is a handsome, long legged tom with a long muzzle and large ears. He has a sleek, soft golden brown fur that fades into a vibrant honey color on his legs and tail. He has a creamy colored underbelly with mellow doe like eyes. He carries himself with confidence and his movements are rather bouncy and animated.

SandStone is a tom full of personality he prides himself on manners and good morals, his parents FinchFlank and DuskRipple had no tolerance for disrespect, and taught him that at a young age. Although strict SandStone adores his parents and has them to thank for his good natured behavior and mostly calm head.

SandStone was born into Shadowclan by DuskRipple and FinchFlank, DuskRipple his mother had never been a fan having kittens, she was more than an workaholic. FinchFlank however was ecstatic with the arrival of his only son. During SandStones childhood it was nothing but tough love from his mother, he loved her more than anything but at times wished she’d open up to him time to time. His father was the one who nurturing spending more time in the nursery than DuskRipple. Despite this FinchFlank wasn’t a queen and still needed to fulfill his Warrior duties, which often left SandKit alone most of the afternoon.

Thankfully making new friends wasn’t much of a struggle for him due to his gentle and fun loving nature, he was especially close however with LogKit and CherryKit which just so happened to be RoseKits little brother. SandKit took a liking to RoseKit mainly because for a while she was immune to his kindness. That was until they were apprenticed SandPaw and RosePaw grew rather close, SandPaw saw under Roses prickly shields and he loved the cat he saw underneath. However he could never bring himself to tell her how he truly felt, he was scared of possibly ruining their friendship with his feelings towards her. So he never expressed how he truly felt, he had never felt much of a connection with JayPaw seeing him as unpredictable and manipulative. He saw the way JayPaw acted towards Rose, it made his blood boil, he tried to warn his friend but she was already in to far. After becoming warriors he tried to bring Rose back, show her she had a purpose other than JayTooth, show her what JayTooth was doing to her. SandStone almost got through to her, only to have JayTooth yank her back into his clutches. He tried to help where he could but as time went on it became harder for him to see under Roses shell, he saw more of Jay in her personality each day, but when Jay abandoned her, her and his family.

SandStone stuck by RosePuddle to the best of his abilities doing his best to help her, and even though most of his advice and compassion didn’t have much effect given her state SandStone never gave up. It took many moons to shake off JayTooths presence and forget and forgive Roses misdeeds, but they got through it, and not just by themselves they had the help of friends and family, now SandStone imagine a life without Rose in it, his love for her is everlasting and to his delight the feeling was mutual.
