SalmonFace

A tall, muscular red and white tortoise shell tom with splashes of orange and dark brown. He has oddly large paws, curled, tufted ears, long feathery whiskers and pale green eyes. Due to his age his pelt has slowly been getting duller with silver hair tinged around his face and paws.

SalmonFace has always been sensible with a good head on his shoulders, he has an ungodly amount of patience for those he thinks need it. He’s forgiving and not one to hold a grudge, he’s compassionate and enjoys making sure his clan mates are cared for and well treated. He likes to see all sides of an argument before choosing who to side with. Despite his sheer amount of composure and nurturing nature he’s ready to give his all if needed, he’s courageous and isn’t afraid to defend those he loves at the cost of his life.

SalmonFace was the product of his mother a ShadowClan cat named PebbleBreeze and SalmonHeart the deputy of Riverclan. PebbleBreeze did her best to hide her pregnancy from her clan mates, this didn’t work out very well. When her secret was found out the clan instantly jumped to ask who the father was. PebbleBreeze did her best to conceal who the true father was, but was eventually ratted out after the birth of her kits. She was chastised by Shadowclan and temporarily exiled for her crimes, she and SalmonKit stayed secretly in Riverclan territory, with SalmonHeart to care for them, his clan oblivious thankfully.

After they’re punishment was over PebbleBreeze returned to Shadowclan with SalmonKit, much to the dismay of a few of her clan mates. SalmonKit was easily prone to illness which often kept him in the medicine den, which wasn’t the worst thing, it gave him an escape from the cruel bullying he’d receive from some of the other kits in the nursery. PebbleBreeze was fiercely protective over him doing all in her power to defend her son, she loved him dearly and would do anything to make him happy.

SalmonFace was most definitely a mamas boy and due to his accelerated growth was apprenticed a moon early. To a she who would’ve been more than happy to have had him and his mother never return to Shadowclan, HeronMask didn’t hide her dislike for SalmonPaw going as far as to neglect his training. PebbleBreeze saw this, keen on making her son into a warrior she would take him out at night to the Riverclan boarder where SalmonPaws father awaited him. On those nights SalmonPaw trained harder than he ever had PebbleBreeze and SalmonHeart teaching him everything they knew. As he grew so did his skills, remarkably quick, although he had picked up some strange habits, such as diving in after frogs that leapt into a pool of water, or simply padding across a stream instead of walking around. It was undeniably he was talented he held no grudge to those who wronged him, forgiving and even befriending his former bullies and becoming a respected warrior.

He no longer cares about his heritage in fact he couldn’t have asked for a better father although they didn’t see each other often SalmonFace strived to be just like his father. When given his first apprentice SalmonFace practically leapt for joy, he promised himself to never make the same mistake as HeronMask, SalmonFace put his all into training his apprentices and became well respected because of it. When his mother was killed in a rouge attack he was crushed, after her burial sneaking off to tell his father the awful news, the sorrow was almost crushing but he had to stay strong, so he did. SalmonHeart stood firm in his clan, working almost twice as hard now eager to prove he was more than worthy for the title of a Shadowclan warrior. As he grew so did the clan around him, he no longer feared trekking out to visit his father or his family that happened to reside in Riverclan, for her was as loyal as could be to his true home. He still enjoyed spending time with his extended family but drifted away as he grew older, still keeping in touch but turning his attention fully to Shadowclan from now on.
