Jiro

the third (youngest) son of the Mitern Royal lineage-- his eldest brother is the true heir but his safety has been oft compromised by being a general in a branch of the Mitern army. Jiro detests his potential heir status, even with his middle brother bringing him security from this possibly happening, and wants nothing to do with the government, his family, ANY of that riff raff! he prefers adventuring alone, and is quite squirrely from his assigned guards. 

that being said, he is very foolish, cocksure due to being given everything he's ever desired growing up, and many of the things he learns when sneaking out of the castle do not usually stick with him.

he often does things in hopes of being banished from his family and the position he holds, but is usually just verbally chastised and set back on the path to learning much about the government and its (droll) intricacies.
