Finch Anderson

history
Finch lived with her parents and siblings, helping around the family's carpentry shop. While in school she didn't have particularly good grades, but he enjoyed learning and spent a lot of time out of school researching or teaching herself about various topics involving biology, history, and anthropology. As the eldest Anderson child, he was expected to stay with his family into adulthood to help run the carpentry business and take care of her youner siblings, but she ended up moving out to attend a community college in the city. The urban enviornment and lack of accomadations in college made the experience unenjoyable and mentally taxing, so Finch ended up dropping out. He managed to get himself hired by a feline missionairy group headed out into the abandoned country, working on field research and investigative journalism to uncover the history of a lost religion and extinct species. He lives in a repaired tower in the mountains near the missionary town, working on her own with the occasional corrospondence with the deputy mayor. After only a a year of working for the town, he found himself swept into all sorts of conflicts when she came across a vessel demon in the forest and offered to provide them shelter in exchange for companionship.

- The darker skin on his face and arms is a hard exoskeleton! Think of it as a shell of sorts.
- Her arms are sort of like large claws, used for digging. They're very powerful but not very precise.
- She wears both masculine and feminine clothing! he likes dark academia, sweaters, and long flowy skirts.

Finch is a down-to-earth person who, at first glance, can seem serious and heavily absorbed in his work. However, he is also an amicable and agreeable person who does her best to get along with everyone. She is avoidant of conflict and prefers to stay out of problems happening around her. He's clever and sarcastic, and enjoys to jokingly poke fun at friends. While Finch tries to stay collected and down to earth, he can be a bit snippy or passive agressive when provoked or in a sour mood. generally speaking, though, he cares about people and tries to be mindful of others feelings. With her friends, she wants to look out for them and help them but struggles to deal with or talk about the emotions and mental health of herself or others. He can be a bit of a worrier about his loved ones. She tends to bury herself in her work and her job, so much so that she can become unintentionally distant.

A vessel demon that Finch helped and lived with for a short time. She enjoyed Speck's company and developed feelings for them, but never got the chance to pursue a relationship.
