Khiata

Bio

Khiata is a spider from the Swamp Kingdom -- specifically from the wealthier side. Uniquely, the Swamp Kingdom is split up into two sides, one populated by moths and the other populated by spiders. Khiata belongs to the Satahra family, which owns an extremely successful fashion company. As her kingdom's disciple, she uses webs to keep opponents away, either turning them into long whips and striking them from afar or discreetly setting up traps to hinder their movement. As a result, fights that she wins tend to be considered uninteresting to watch by the audience. This is one reason why she is not well-liked or even hated by a lot of people -- another being the fact that she is essentially the face of the Satahra brand. Though she rarely acknowledges her opponents and even civilians, Khiata seems to have little issue promoting her family's newest line of clothes. This combined with many rumors surrounding her family regarding shady business practices has led to Khiata being the least liked disciple by a fair amount. She's the third disciple that Kago and Paula meet, being recommended by Narith and Jinsoku -- Narith because he wanted to see her lose, Jinsoku because she thought Kago could make the fight interesting to watch.

Personality

In public, Khiata generally comes off as apathetic or even cold, especially when it comes to how she treats opponents. She almost never verbally responds to them and is hesitant to even shake hands. While she seems like a disrespectful, uncaring person, she is actually very shy and soft-spoken. The Khiata that advertises Satahra family clothes is merely a persona that her mother encourages her to be. Khiata's very nervous around people, and it certainly doesn't help that many people don't like her by default. The near-universal hatred has left her lacking confidence in just about every aspect of herself -- save for her ability as a seamstress.

Powers

Satahra's Web: To defend herself, Khiata uses her webs, to set up traps and nets. Alone, the webs are thin and nearly invisible, and she can manipulate them with subtle movements of her hands. She can also weave multiple webs together to use as rope or make whips.

Fortify Trabea: Rather than controlling an element, Khiata can enhance her webs to make them much stiffer and sturdier, even to the point where they're more like steel bars.
