Kordell is an assassin who works for both countries Delemar and Choson behind their back. He kisses up to kings and does their every dirty work that they don't want the public to know about, and does it well, and gets paid well. He's a snarky, very animated man who loves to heckle people, people he doesn't like but especially people he does like. Hatred for the war taking away his mother and his long time best friend has ruled his life for years, and used this opportunity of being an assassin to 'get back' at everyone, hoping both countries would crash and burn. Over the years, though, he's lost the fire, and has come to hate what he has become. He feels he's in too deep, and just can't shake off the bitter hatred and remnants of his desire for revenge.

He comes from a minetown buried deep underground after people fled the shambles of war and made a life for themselves there. He's deeply loyal and uses the money he earns to send back to them, except, no one really knows how he's getting the money. He knows it's wrong but he thinks he's in too deep to turn back now<

Regardless, he was forced to make friends eventually by accidentally becoming friends with Romana, one of Choson's prized healers. She softened him up considerably, even if he is still a sassy sassy man, and he deeply cares for her and would do anything for her. Ames is another person that he began to reluctantly become friends with, and ironically Ames was someone he was sent to kill initially due to him being the leader of a revolution, but Kordell decided against it and now hes more busy trying to get Ames to take his vitamins than worrying about killing him.

His weapons of choice are guns, and an odd tube-needle invention that wraps around a hook on his back. Using every muscle on his arm he can trigger charges (imagine magic with chemical reactions) within the flexible glass tube and move it in midair and stab people with and inject drugs into them. Sometimes to sedate them and sometimes to kill them.

He also has a form of skin phobias where he hates touching people with his bare skin and prefers to wear gloves, (ironically since hes the type of person to put his arm around someone and heckle them, just as long as he’s got gloves on) and is obsessively putting on lotion and skincare all over his face to keep him from having wrinkles. HE ALSO DOES DRUGS BC he cannot cope l o l he usually ends up getting a side effect of his eyes going violet for a while because the drugs in MNC are wild, and Flora got him hooked on her drugs so he's kind of tied to her. Flora is an awful sadist in general but yea he did this to himself
