Addar has had a hard life. Being kicked out at a young age and had to resort to selling his body for money and selling drugs just to get by, he suffered. But, because of the money he gained from those favors, he was able to get a GED and go to college. There he met his husband, became a best selling author, and kickstarted his life for the better.
Addar has a stalker from his prostitution days still going after him. As a pike, they can live forever (they stop aging at the age of 25) and are harder to kill, but they are killable. This man coming after him is also a pike, named Theodore. Theodore almost killed his husband on several occasions, and is practically unstoppable. But, thankfully they moved and at the moment are in hiding.
Addar enjoys anything concerning his family. He will do anything to protect them, even kill for them. Thankfully it hasn't resorted to that, as of yet!
