INCLUDES HEAVY OUTER WILDS SPOILERS, PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU WISH TO PLAY THE GAME. One of the few to have worked on the digital world, and one of the last to leave their life behind. They watched as their people destroyed their homeplanet, fell through depression and destructiveness. They also worked on the prisoner's chamber, which in their entire life, regret the most. So in what time they had left in their physical body, they made a copy of themselves and sent themself into space permanently. Cypress thoroughly believed that even though they may be forever stuck in limbo in that life, maybe another chance could be found. Their original conscious is left to a terrible fate, time blinded and a shell of who they were, they drown when the dam breaks and blows out their lantern. There is a chance the hatchling meets them and instead of being aggressive- is curious; with no dialogue they are a friendly being to stand around.

Later Life

Cypress does get found after 10 thousand years by a descendant Nomai mothership, it takes a while until they get their power running again; but they seem proud of themselves when the Owlk finally responds.
