Cartie, what do you think of this scene? I feel it could use more of your touch.
…! Ah, I was…thinking something a bit warmer. Focus on the characters’ hands when they’re holding one another instead of them sitting side-by-side. For me, it suggests closeness, affection. How does that sound?
So much for a party.
Ah, Mx. Sawyer~~ I trust you'll be attending our big party? It'd be suuuch a shame to not have a scenic eye such as yours amongst our crowd.
Ah, yes. I've seen your name about. Quite the collection of films you're responsible for. They all seem so sad... tell me, aren't you in need of a vacation?
[Wilhelm wonders, sometimes, if that was all real. After all, she looked so undeniably human, touching even the deepest corners of the filmmaker's heart.]
[The headphones sit alone in allegro, now missing both owners-- but Livia will never forget what you did for her that day.]
...You're young. I don't blame you for wanting to have hope.
I don't want to see luck as such an awful thing, but...
Ah, you sound so confident.. but I'll say yes only to a fair match.
So, about that film... What do you say to a rematch? I'm still quite curious about it, I'll admit.
Oh, please, Michel! Not if I get one for you first! Aha!:AGONY:
You’ll be coming next June, yes? I ought to buy you a vanity Iguana plate as a treat! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! (???)
Dearest Amira,
I hope you don't find my immediate correspondence so surprising. Cartie and I had just gotten in this morning; it's hard to believe that the past month flew by so quickly, and even though Florida and California are both sunny, it is still missing something.
As forward as this is, I am looking forward to when we'll see each other again. In the meantime, I will continue to work on my films, and read the books you send me. On our ride home, I found myself picturing the contact between the train wheels and the tracks. Isn't that so fascinating?
Please send Michel my kindest regards. He was very kind to give me a wooden alligator figure, and I luckily found a postcard of one too.
Warmly yours,
Wilhelm Sawyer
