Will (Farewell Wanderlust)

Will is the firstborn child of Abraham Grace, descendant of one of the ancient rulers of Elsmir. He felt a lot of expectations as the oldest and rarely allowed himself to relax. His calmest moments were with his siblings or what few friends he had, one of which seemed to stand out from the others; Ellis. Most people said she was trouble, but always seemed to know what Will needed most. He trusted her with more than anyone else, and felt more himself around her.

Will's family life became unstable when his third sibling, Fortuna, turned out to be a half sibling. His mother was scorned and kicked out for her disloyalty, Will never saw her again. Not like he wanted to anyhow. He became withdrawn and spent more time with Ellis, rarely telling his family where he was

It was one such visit that happened to save his life. He had snuck out during the night, and returned in the morning to discover that his family had become a target of an act that would end up starting a civil war. King Vi saw their heritage as a threat and saught to end the Grace bloodline by burning their home down. Will was the only survivor, and it didn't take long for this to be discovered. He panicked and ran, leaving everything he'd ever known behind to live a life in hiding. People spoke of the missing Grace descendant for many years to come, wondering what had ever become of them, or if they ever survived in the first place.

William was content living his life on the run, until his bastard half sibling Fortuna joined the Eastern war effort claiming she was a Grace descendant and appeared to be using her heritage to climb ranks. Will was upset that the reason his family was broken before they died was suppodedly using the heritage that put Will at risk for her own benefit. Will waited, hoping for a good time to come out of hiding to present itself. It didn't take long for Fortuna to get captured by the East for doing something idiotic. Will was quick to take the opportunity to explain his side of the story while his sister was assumed to be dead. The Eastern Council happily allowed him to take her empty place.

Will wasn't settled into the new occupation for long when Fortuna returned alive, to everyone's surprise. She had only survived with the help of some Westerners and remarkable luck. When Will was able to speak to her, he realized he was mistaken about what he assumed was her character. He thought she was self centered and knew the truth, but she had been lied to and was just as hurt as he was with the whole ordeal. The two made up and ended up becoming very close. Will agreed to allow Fortuna to keep the Grace name, as he considers her his full sister. Will kept his new position until the end of the war.

After the war, Will was tasked with investigating and ending a significant Eastern crime ring. During his travels, he discovered an old friend. Ellis, or rather Evelynn. They had both changed a lot in their years apart, but there was still something special between them. Will didn't want to let himself hope that they could rekindle what they had after he left her. Besides, Eve seemed to be hiding something.
