Will

Comic spoilers ahead!

William is Fortuna's half sibling (same mother). When Will was around 14 years old, their family was killed by Vi in a politically-motivated attack that ended up starting a civil war between Eastern and Western Elsmir. She spent most of her life on the run as Vi wasn't too pleased about one member of the Grace family escaping. He eventually came out of hiding and joined the Council (leaders of the East) after discovering Fortuna's claim to his family name. At first they were upset that she claimed their family name, as she wasn't actually a Grace descendant, but he eventually realized she was lied to by her mother and genuinely had good intentions. They helped her put together the family history she couldn't remember and never had anyone around to explain to her. After the East won the wr, Will remained on the Council and helped where she could in running the newly-founded country.
