Veliki Knyaz Konstantin II Svyatoslavich is the twenty-first monarch of Firay. He is the first sovereign to be officially crowned as Veliki Knyaz in over a thousand years. He claims descent from Konstantin the Formidable, Firay's last ruler during The Age of Saints. Konstantin's uncanny physical resemblance to his namesake is a common topic of conversation.

When it comes to the arcane arts, he is highly capable as a universalist wizard. Despite the lack of formal training, he has bested Firay's most accomplished spellcasters in an absurdly short period of time. News of his skill eventually became widespread, leading to him being referred to as a prodigy.

Konstantin's political acumen is extremely impressive, matched closely by his record as a military strategist and tactician. He has successfully unified the feuding nobles, bringing together a shattered Firay under one banner. After his meteoric rise to re-establish the seat of Veliki Knyaz, his policies gradually turned more pragmatic. Since Konstantin believes maintaining control of the throne is harder than winning it, he sets aside his personal desires and ambitions in order to focus on the needs of a nation.

Currently, Konstantin is looking for relics of Old Firay. Based from Tarych and Silva's accounts, it seems the young monarch will spare no expenses if it means recovering them.
