About
Between raising a kid, getting used to the rules of Evelow, and working as a mechanic for some of the biggest machines he's ever seen, Brian has no time for nonsense, and that includes the majority of snobs that live in this new city.
•
Part of this behavior is arrogance, but given the life Brian's lived, it can be understandable. Despite this hostility, Brian actually does value the circle of friends he's made since moving to Evelow, and is worried that he may eventually scare everyone away. At the same time, he refuses to be vulnerable and admit he needs them.

Story
Backstory
Formerly a member of the wasteland pirates, Brian worked on vehicle maintenance, never getting directly involved with the piracy and other crimes. Things get serious when his girlfriend Ronnie gets pregnant and eventually decides to keep the baby. Oliver is a fun addition to the Recom team of pirates Brian works for, and all instantly adore him.
All is well until the loss of the mother and a terrible turn of events, in which someone else's life (ahem, Morgan) was prioritized over Ronnie's. Brian seemed to be the only truly heartbroken over this, and it was then when he realized how expendable his life was to his team. Wanting to give a better life to Oliver, Brian abandons Recom and takes Oliver to Evelow, a bigger city where he can escape his past and start new.
Current Story
While working at the factory is no fun, Brian has befriended his new roommate Orisa in which she inspired him to take on playing the guitar again. Brian has also made new friends in Evelow, some that won't leave him or his loved ones dead. (okay, low bar but Brian does genuinely like his friends, even if he can't find himself getting *too* vulnerable with them)

Both former members of the Wastelanders, Brian immediately distrusted Morgan after her spinal transplant that once belonged to their friend Ronnie who died of a work accident. He would rather not see her ever again.
roommates that met through working the same factory shifts and Orisa has been his closest friend since moving into the city. She's honest on how dependable she is and Brian really appreciates that. He saves her the sob stories because he knows it's too much to hear.
they have gotten to be pretty close, Brian doesn't even mind Jake's casual flirts towards him. Oddly enough they've come to each other for advice.
