Summary
The offspring of a fairy and a merman, Kailani represents the balance between the sea, the sky, and the area in between.
Kailani adores her position, and takes pride in upholding her responsibilities. When she was younger, she struggled a lot with the feeling of being torn between two worlds…that of the fairies and that of the merfolk. Luckily, as she grew into herself and her power, Kailani found peace within herself- as well as within the space she inhabits.
Despite living on a distant beach, Kailani is an ally and friend to Secret- the two somewhat bonded due to Secret’s role as Goddess of Fairytales. The two have only met a handful of times, due to Kailani’s responsibilities to her homeland. Yet, even if they enjoy each other’s company, they both hope to never see one another again- knowing if they do? It will be because something has gone very, very, very wrong…
OC History
Kailani is a newer OC of mine! Unlike Finn and Secret, she isn’t a revamped old OC. Her story is tied into the Arcadia-Barlowe Bloodline, but is also independent from it in most ways. The stories are separate up until a tipping point for the Arcadia-Barlowe bloodline…which leads to the two worlds colliding once again.

[ Friend/Ally ]
The two met due to Secret’s role of Goddess of Fairytales, and bonded rather quickly. Despite their differences, the two enjoyed each other’s quiet company. They don’t see each other anymore, due to their own responsibilities to their titles. Despite Kailani’s care for Secret, she hopes she never has to see the other mare again…knowing that only a massive threat could bring them back together…
Koi
[ Friend ]
Kailani saved Koi’s life after he was attacked by a dark warlock. The only way she could save him would tie his physical form to the beach for the rest of his life. She did the spell regardless, and now he follows her around and helps out anyway he can. He’s much more social than Kailani, but Koi’s good natured demeanor is something she appreciates. Even if that means she has to deal with his excitable ramblings.
Percy
[ Enemy ]
Kailani can not stand Percy. He thinks far too highly of himself, in her opinion, and disregards everyone aside from his few allies as beneath him. Kailani is just greatful that he never comes to shore, meaning that she usually doesn’t have to deal with him
