protagonist of JRPG (janitor rpg), a non-existent game that i like to think about a lot.
the janitor of a hospital that hides a secret research facility, who is dragged into an extensive adventure when the antagonist escapes and runs into this guy instead of the two heroes investigating the situation.
hits the antag in the face with a broom for making a mess, and then the heroes, having witnessed this, decide that thats enough to get anyone involved, and the janitor struggles to refuse despite absolute disinterest
broom has higher dex/str cause u can use 2 hands, mop comes with a bucket of water so u get higher def + potential splash damage lmao. late-game there are real polearms available but lets be realistic about whats fun to use lmfao. janitor spends a good few minutes trying to inset magic crystals into the broom handle and gets cranky because it doesnt work like that, you need specialised weapons built to take crystals. and then they just do it anyway out of sheer force of will
name depends on what the player chooses. age is ambiguously late 20s. he/him until u have a conversation with one of the nb party members after which they decide on they/them. this seems completely optional, you can skip/avoid it, but if u do then gender comes up in the middle of the final boss fight with the antag and janitor is just like. 'oh. yeah. me too.'
