Mars is a cross between a calico cat and a koi fish. He is the lead singer of a band known as 'The Hybrids' that he made with friends. He is known for being confident and spreading the message of liking who you are, despite your 'imperfections'.

Mars had been bullied for being a 'hybrid' and a 'freak' for a majority of his school life. His brother attempting to get him into modeling to boost his confidence since he was a hybrid just like him. And for a while it worked, meeting Dare in the process ; a friend of his brother and a hybrid as well. The two clicked quickly due to the two both loving music and music making. Lucky for them they both went to the same school ; which led to Dare standing up for Mars any time he noticed the bullies going at him, since he himself was popular he had quite the influence and helped Mars stand up for himself.
Once Dare and Mars had both graduated the would occasionally joke about starting a band, a band with the name Hybrids in reference to what they both were bullied for. Eventually this joke manifested into a reality, and the two started to perform. While the duo started off with small perfomances in clubs during college they quickly grew a following. Dare felt it was great, getting praise instead of hate for being a 'hybrid' and so he began to search for other band-mates with unique features. Which is when he found the small friend group including Griffin, Skat, and Sunny.
Dare and Mars are best friends. Dare helping Mars standup for himself and chasing off bullies who would go after Mars. Dare was the popular jock of the school they went to and a friend of his brother. Soon both would play intstuments in the garage and drink together from time to time and soon they made a band together. Becoming close enough to have a brother like relationship.
Jerome is a model who Mars kind of admired from afar, he found them atractive but it felt like it would be a 'ah he doesnt know i exist' type of deal. But once catfish spotted him in the audiannce at HIS performance they decided to shoot their shot by interacting with him and bringing them up onto the stage. They found out that Jerome and his sister were there and they decided to make it a special moment and have the band go meet up with the sister.
'Apa' is Mars' brother. For a while Apollo wasn't seen around the family for reasons he never told Mars. But they reunited during highschool and they became closer than ever. Modeling together, teaching the other how to play guitar, and more! they are very close and nothing can bring them apart.
