PERSONALITY
Lila is brash, sarcastic, and snide when people first meet her. She doesn’t trust others easily, and uses her prickly personality as a defense mechanism to prevent herself from getting hurt. As such, she doesn’t have many close friends. She fences competitively, so she prides herself on her accomplishments. She knows she may not be as smart as others, but she doesn’t let that stop her – instead, Lila relishes in her strength. She uses this strength to protect those she loves to the bitter end. Lila absolutely hates being vulnerable, but there are a select few who she’ll allow herself to open up to. Once someone has earned Lila’s trust, she becomes much friendlier, though still a bit snide at times. She loves to joke around, and often lightly teases her friends whenever they hang out. Above all, though, Lila knows that she would die for the people she cares about – she would do anything to protect them and preserve their happiness.
HISTORY
Lila was born in Galway, Ireland, to her parents Killian and Reagan. She grew up speaking both English and Gaeilge, since her grandparents grew up in a Gaeltacht. She adored her home, and was devastated when she had to move away because of her dad's work. At 7, her family moved to the U.S. It took Lila a while to adjust, and she never really felt settled even after living there for so long. She always wanted to go anywhere else, but never managed to do so. In middle school, Lila started fencing competitively as a way to get her frustration out. She really took to it, and once she entered high school, she began placing highly in state and national tournaments. Eventually, she ended up finding peoplle who cared about her that convinced her to stay in town, though the urge to get out and travel is still present in her mind.
