Octavia "Tavi" Carmine is someone known as incredibly reserved and downrighth hostile if you don't know her. She almost immediately makes it known that she has no interest in personal ties or teamwork, and that the only person she's playing for is herself. If, somehow, you manage to find yourself on her good side, however, you'll find that she's reluctantly caring and incredibly protective of the few people that manage to worm their way inside her inner circle. Even if she'll keep insulting and berating you, just know that she won't allow anyone else to do the same if you don't like it.
At her core, Octavia is incredibly confused, although her staggering amount of confidence could fool you otherwise. She is like every politician ever--she deeply cares about her familial ties, but finds it impossible to prioritise them over her own gain for power. Only kind to the people she thinks deserve it and way, way too cocky for her own good. Constantly bored, slightly disoriented, yet too self-preservational to be impulsive, she's got a bad case of alcohol dependence. And a shit sense of humour to match, too!
