8-Bit is a chimera made in a secret laboratory in Delta per the request of their adoptive mother, Nova. When they learned about how and why they were made, they ran away from home to pursue freedom and adventure.

• 8-Bit's star pendant allows them to create portals at will, which they use to get around quickly, as well as using the space in-between the portals as a safe haven and storage space.
• They got the name 8-Bit from their favorite arcade.
