Fanged Frenzy

Frenzy is a unicorn who wants to be a dragon. He actually does have some dragon blood in him but it is fairly distant. He acts highly wild and rash, often making decisions without doing much thinking about them first. Frenzy was raised by a family of dragons who adopted him after finding him as a colt. 

Frenzy currently lives on his own in a cave in [Jungle] and is obsessed with finding and collecting gems for his “hoard”. He does not care where he gets his gems from, sometimes leading him to places where he really should not be taking things. One of these places, the site of some ancient ruins, ended up cursing him. 

The conditions of the curse are that the more gems he collects, the more dragon-like he will become and the hungrier he will be for gems. However, eating the gems reduces his hoard and in turn makes him less dragon-like. Frenzy rarely ever reaches full dragon form due to this, meaning that he will always be searching for more gems that he will inevitably end up eating and setting back his progress. Frenzy is able to use his unicorn magic up until the point he grows wings, when his magical abilities are replaced with the ability to breathe fire. If he reverts far back enough to lose his wings, he is able to use his magic again.
