Cedric

Cedric is a former adventurer pony currently residing in the forest near [Village]. He received an enchantment on his last quest that causes plants to grow wherever his hooves touch, and respond to his emotions. Unable to control it, he decided it would be best if he moved to somewhere already filled with plants while he tried to figure out how to adapt to this new circumstance. 

At some point Erica ran across him and, seeing his situation, offered to try and help him get a handle on his ability in exchange for him growing plants she needed for her work as a healer. He agreed and Erica gifted him a set of shoes to let him walk around freely without activating the enchantment while he was still learning control. Working with Erica also allowed Cedric to meet Sweet Pear, Erica’s nephew and Cedric’s current boyfriend. 

Cedric now has a good grasp on his ability and is thinking about becoming an adventurer again, with nothing holding him back anymore. He plans to take Sweet Pear with him, as he has expressed interest in adventuring as well.
