personality

Rattletail has always prided himself in being friendly and approachable to his clanmates. Even to those outside of the clan, he's always been friendly and respectful. Perhaps a little too open to others. As he can easily find hi friendship being taken advantage of. Although this doesn't stop him, as he believes everyone should be treated with kindness.

Although he's not afraid to get a little mean, especially when someone is bothering or hurting one of his friends, especially his closest friends. He won't deny that he can be a little over protective of those he's close to. But he's not afaid to become verbally aggressive when mad, and when even more mad he's not afraid to get physical. But the chances are he'd still end up pretty roughed up. But it doesn't stop him.

While he knows herbs and healing, when it comes to almost anything else, he's rather clueless. This does often put him on the recieving end of jokes, but he doesn't mind too much. Often he can be seen laughing with others about it. There are times he does get a little frustrated when things don't get explained to him. But he can often shrug this off. But it does end up bothering him later on.

The part of his job he does hate, is that it restricts him from getting close to others. He finds himself sleeping with others almost as a way to take control of this part of his life. Almost enjoying the taboo nature of it. But he does wish to change this law, so he could find someone who really understands him and can settle down with.

He's known for being rather nosey around the clan. You can be sure if there is any gossip going around, he will certainly know it. And if he doesn't he will do anything he can to find out. Most know him for being a source of information and gossip within the clan, and in some instances outside of the clan.

with friends

With friends, Rattletail, is especially goofy and loud with. He's almost always seen laughing and joking with them. He's exceptionally close to them and would do anything for them. But he can be rather over protective of them. Should they be hurt or he hears some gossip going around about them, he'll do anything he can to put a stop to it, even if it puts him in harms way.

with partners

With partners, Rattletail, is really affectionate. Often always wanting to be around them as much as he can. Loving being cuddled, giving and recieving kisses. Any type of affection he can give and take he will happily be part of. He'll only share the deepest parts of himself to his partners, and show his forearm scar to them. Although he can be rather clingy at times.

background

Kithood

Rattlekit was born within SkyClan's camp to his parents, Spotshine and Hemlockfang. Along side his sibling Hollowkit. The two were treated with the same love and affection and were begining to learn the basics of being a warrior of the clan. Before the medicine cat, Cottonheart, would approach them expressing their desire to take Rattlekit under their wing and train them to be the next medicine cat. At the apprentice ceremony Rattlekit would be named the next medicine cat apprentice.

Apprenticeship

Rattlepaw and Hollowpaw stood before their leader as their names were called to the heavens above here Rattlepaw was apprenticed to the medicine cat Cottonheart. And their sibling Hollowpaw was apprenticed to a warrior called Shrewedfang. Immediately this caused a divide between the two siblings as Hollowpaw saw their sibling as getting better treatment and being "More noticed". This caused Hollowpaw to become more volitile and aggressive to Rattlepaw. And more often avoiding their brother all together.

Somewhere about Hollowpaw causing Rattlepaw's burn on their forearm, then bullying them for it, causing Rattlepaw to become rather self conscious about it and choosing to hide it.

Rattletail still loves their sibling. Although they don't understand what happened to cause them to split so much and why Hollowheart hurt them so much. What Rattletail would give to fix the relationship, but he's too scared to approach them at the moment.
