known for much of the campaign as just 'the nameless elf' due to a curse that forbade any name but his true name from sticking, and which also removed his name from any history book or record, thorn turned out to be one of two lost princes - the younger brother of the crown prince whose body was doing its utmost to take the throne
turns out the name his biological parents gave him didnt matter at all. llewyrch was the one who named him when he was still a child, lost in the North, and their influence is also why hes a barbarian with a berserker state :) theyre his weird mom by accident. its appended with 'in my side' but thats pretty affectionate from llew, and given that their magic is all about brambles and thorns its a compliment too
evening found him after he made his way south enough to be found and they spent many years together as essentially an evil-fighting duo. they met the party in the very first session in fact! and showed up a lot along the way before their importance was uncovered. post-canon hes working towards taking up the crown with evening as his prince-consort !
