In the hunger games alternate universe, Tei is a victor of one of the hunger games for his district 2. He becomes a mentor for District 2's tribute only to meet Verona, another Tribute from district 3.. The girl falls in love with his smug ways and wishes to return alive so she could stay with him in the Victors' Village.
