Charisma

Hera is immediately adored by almost everybody who meets her: she is inspiring in a way that only she can be. She is young, and she believes so strongly in a better world that even old, jaded phuzos can't help but imagine the world that she sees in her mind. They can't help but wish it were real. Her drive to create that world has united people who didn't know they had anything in common.

Weaponry Skill

Hera was taught how to use her weapons by several skilled phuzos, most of them career anarchists. She has adapted their techniques into her own skillset. She is not the most advanced student of weaponry in Praque, but what skills she has are useful and well-used.

About

Raised in an abbey by a kind and motherly phuzo named Gaia, Hera was always taught that there was compassion and care in the world. When she came of age, she discovered that the Iyzmiska that lived outside the abbey's walls was cruel and unforgiving. Rather than seek out a job, Hera has decided that -- if the world won't be kind on its own -- it is her duty to make it so.

Though she is young, she has joined up with revolutionary groups and put her full effort toward making change in the world. She is an intelligent, determined person who will stop at nothing to reach her goals -- though she does go home from time to time, to remind herself what kindness looks like and to help take care of the other young ones being raised by the abbey.

Before Praque's Fall

When Hera was expected to enter the workforce, she was appalled by what she saw in the city outside the abbey which had raised her. She had been taught that the world should be good, kind, and fair; it was anything but. She could have accepted this as a fact and entered her world disillusioned, but she couldn't bear it: instead, she found the anarchists who were working to make the world better, and she joined them immediately. Many of them were put off by her youth, but she has a way of making even impossible things seem possible, rven to the jaded.

She ran with the rebels, forming connections with many people throughout the city and working hard to make sure that some peoples' lives could be improved. Under their wings, Hera grew into a confident and incredibly driven young girl who truly believed in everything she did. Not everyone can say they always do things for the right reasons: Hera always did.

After Praque's Fall

When the Truth Seekers' broadcast went sideways, Hera immediately knew what to do. Alongside Admir, one of many phuzos who acted as a mentor of hers, Hera rescued and guided a handful of unhacked phuzos to the underground rebel base. After that, she never stopped: Hera was out on missions daily, scouting out the city, scavenging supplies, or helping to rescue the few people remaining in the city. She never stopped, never seemed to tire; her entire being was poured into being exactly the hero she had always envisioned herself to be. This was a true crisis, and she was equipped to help -- so she did.

Hera was especially good for morale. She had to be made to rest, most of the time, but her boundless energy and her determined optimism helped others feel like things were going to be okay. These were the darkest months of Hera's life, but she brought her own light to it as best she could. Very few people saw her waver -- and she did waver -- but most of the time she burned bright.

Reclaiming the City

Hera put all she had into reclaiming the city, too; she fought alongside her mentors to clear a path for the main force to Rhecka's hideaway. It wasn't a job in the spotlight, but she didn't need to be the sole hero: it was enough for her to be a part of the whole. Community was what she had always believed in, and she saw it win that day. She believed in it even more for seeing it succeed.

With Praque's gates open again and others rebuilding, Hera has high hopes for the future. The fact that mutts are allowed in the city is an enormous win, but she sees that there is still work to be done. And she will get right back to work... as soon as she takes the rest that everybody who knows her is forcing her to take.
