04. Windows X3's Comments

Used it for my little guy!!

used a snippet of the header for my main profile code frankenstiened with another code! tysm!

used this code for lovely chip cookie :D

Thanks so much for this great code! I used it on Aero's page (although I did edit it quite a bit).

I also had the black images issue on the toolbars, but it was down to me accidentally putting two "background" tags on the same element (when I tried to swap from gradient to images, I pasted it wrong so it said "background: background-image url:") I felt very dumb when I realised that :'o)

Oh, that's interesting! I didn't realize that that was what was causing it ... good to know!

Planning on using for this character (emelin)

using on my pokemon trainer sona! <3 tysm, this code is super cute uwu !!!

Hey I’m having trouble with the images could you please help me? I’m trying to put a image for the image parts of the code but it keeps showing up as black. I’ve looked through similar comments and tried the solutions they needed but nothing is working :[ I tried resizing the image under 250 and changing cover to full and all those stuff but it just shows up as black. Here is the link to the character so you can take a look. https://toyhou.se/19551901.glimmer

i don't see anything that would definitively make the image show up as black, is it possible that you're inserting the link incorrectly? this is also an old code, so the tag i used might just be "background", which tends to act oddly sometimes with images, so changing it to "background-image" instead might fix it. Full also isn't a valid background size category, auto is what you want it set to to use the original image size, so at the very least that won't help, but it might also be making things act oddly as well. I've never had an image show up as black before, if there's anything wrong they just don't appear, so i'm honestly not sure what exactly might be causing it!

Oh well the image link is from discord so that might be the case. I’ll try that right now!

Yeah nothing seems to be working for some odd reason! I might try to re edit the whole code or just try a new one. Thank you for trying to help though! :]

I'm having trouble uploading the image in the image box, where would I put the link?

it's at the bottom end of the window 2 section - it's "background:url(https://i.imgur.com/kxg8QqP.png);", you can just ctrl+f to replace the imgur link with your own if you're still having trouble!

TSYM! I got it working yesterday but i'm having trouble with the image in the box. It shows... But not the way I want it to.. I have it on here https://toyhou.se/18327635.willow if you need to see what I mean. The box is set to 100x100 and the image I used is 100x100, I even tried sizing the image up and it still messes up, or it zooms in too much. Is there a specific dimension the image needs to be on in order to fit or do I need a bigger picture? I only have 2 artwork pieces of her right now and 2 more on the way so it's not like I can just use a different picture you know. This is my first time ever coding, or using codes on TH so I have no idea what i'm doing lol! I managed to follow everything perfectly though but the image is what i'm stuck on.

the box is set to 100%, not 100px! the image itself is around 250px. in the line below where the url goes, the background size should be set to "cover", but if that doesn't make it fit the box right, try changing it to "background-size:fill;" and that might make it fit better.

using it!! https://toyhou.se/16602384.sandy
All your codes are sooooo cute 💖💖💖

i dont know why but its not spread out like the normal is https://toyhou.se/13481329.iloveyou any ideas why?

I'd imagine that code was made to be mobile responsive, so it flattens to one column on a smaller screen! I don't know how to do that hence why my code makes the page scroll instead of changing to fit it

there's no color specified for that section so it's using the same color as the rest of the code, so if you want it to be a specific color you can just drop a "color:#HEX;" into the style part of line 189 and that should work!
