i don't see anything that would definitively make the image show up as black, is it possible that you're inserting the link incorrectly? this is also an old code, so the tag i used might just be "background", which tends to act oddly sometimes with images, so changing it to "background-image" instead might fix it. Full also isn't a valid background size category, auto is what you want it set to to use the original image size, so at the very least that won't help, but it might also be making things act oddly as well. I've never had an image show up as black before, if there's anything wrong they just don't appear, so i'm honestly not sure what exactly might be causing it!
