Finnian Mariposa's Links
Ah my friend Nami. I very much enjoy when they take the time to invite me to go stargazing. Though, my view is less on the stars and more on the critters of the night that venture near us while we sit together. I think Nami keeps that in mind, as he always takes me to spots where I always see something I can add to my notebooks. A very thoughtful friend indeed.
Finn is a wonderful friend. I do get a bit distracted by his butterflies sometimes, but he's always so patient with me when I do. I think he also doesn't like when others are impatient with him. I like to see what he's putting in his notebooks, I like his plant drawings a lot. Has nothing on constellation drawings, but I'm happy they are willing to share what they do with me anyways.
Calla is a yume I have very high respect for. She's always been a hard worker, and dedicated to always bettering herself and others. It's not often we find the time to stop and talk to one another, but when we do they are always happy to hear my latest research. I like to hear about Calla's latest interests as well, and what she may be learning next.
Finnian, oh sorry, Finn, is a respectable yume. He's kind, and he's studious. He's able to dedicate to any work he sets himself to doing. Clearly they are good at their nightmare deliveries, else they wouldn't have the butterflies they have. I enjoy the times we get to sit together and catch up on the latest. I rather enjoy getting to look over Finn's latest notebooks he's filled up.
A sweet child who may as well be the season incarnate, Summer is one of my favorite yumes! Naturally we met out in nature, and she struck up conversation. Now, if there's any plant or critter Summer believes I'd be interested in she finds me as soon as she can. It's almost like having a research assistant! She also makes sure I always have some kind of snack so I don't forget to eat. What a sweet soul.
Finny!!! I see lots of nature stuff when I'm out exploring, and I know Finn likes to know about a lot of nature stuff, so I always show him the stuff I find!! Oh he always likes when I do that, and I've learned so much cause of doing that!! Finny is very patient with all my questions, and they're so good at explaining when I do ask stuff!! I adore Finny!!
Tsuyuki was a bit of a surprise to me when we became friends. Not in a bad way though, I just never really pictured us being friends I suppose, cause she stays pretty busy in the busy parts of the cove whereas I am in nature so much. But she heard I had a notebook on sea creatures, wanted to see my octopus notes, and the rest is history!
I care a lot for Casey. He is quiet, and seems to be frightened of a lot of things in the world. There's nothing wrong with that though, as he tries so very hard to be brave. They have not outright told me about how they became this way, but I can piece things together. Regardless, Casey just needs other yumes who can be kind, gentle, and patient with him. And I'm very glad I can be one of those yume for them.
Finnian... is a friend... h-he is super gentle and quiet and patient. I think... he's much younger than me, so he probably doesn't know what... happened... even so he seems to understand? Wh-when I first met him, they introduced me to their butterflies and even let me hold one! It was the first time... in a while that I felt like smiling. I guess I really like and trust Finn... I'm lucky he's my friend...
Rus is a wonderful friend of mine! Of course we bonded over our bug spectre friends, and the rest is history. Rus stays busy cleaning a lot, but when he can be convinced to stop for a while I like to make us drinks of our choice and sit with him, showing my latest notes and drawings. I've actually even taken the time to transfer all the ones that Rus has liked to look at the most into a notebook just for him, and once it's done I'm going to give it to him!
i get happy around Finn, too! it picked my interest how close he is to nature and how dedicated he is... in the end, humans will decompose and turn into dirt... huh? sorry, i didn't mean to get dark there. i just think its neat how this can help bugs.
i am no good at exploring nature so i look at Finn's drawings and books everytime i have a chance. hehe, we both have bug friends spectres... i really want to be close to him. i would let him pet me. i-i just haven't had the chance to tell him he has permission
Oh sweet little Bella! She's very helpful without me even asking, and I appreciate it very much. Bella has so kindly let me draw her wings for one of my notebooks, she seemed very excited about it in fact. She spent the time of me drawing enjoying my butterflies and chatting away with me. If I need to know about any going-ons in the cove, Bella is my go to seeing as she goes all over and speaks to so many others.
Ooohh Finn is super cool!! I’m really fond of his butterflies, probably cause of my moth wings! We’re similar for it! Finn has some really interesting notes about nature and stuff too. I like looking when I run into him! Oh! I also deliver him new notebooks he requests from the human world! Well, Finn says he could pick them up himself but I insist! I’m the best delivery-yume out there after all!!
Finn is a pretty interesting yume. Or more so his duality between dreams and such... I've never seen him outwardly mean towards anyone which is reassuring, however. I get a bit paranoid about that sometimes. He's also surrounded by butterflies often, them appearing to help with with one of those journals I'll occasionally see him carrying. If possible, I wouldn't mind chatting over some tea or a really good cappuccino. Those are the best.
Ah Luciano! A yume of the sciences as well, but more geared towards the medical side of things. I approached him first having heard about his interests, and now we regularly meet and exchange information about our specific fields. He’s quite lovely to chat with actually, and actually has a nice coffee ready for me every time we meet now!
Finn...! Quite the reclusive and quiet natured creature, he is. I do... admire... their observant and dedicated nature. Although many yumenari can be somewhat... overwhelming... to my senses, Finn is... Very pleasant. To be entirely too honest, I've been learning how to make the damned coffee that they enjoy... As somewhat of a surprise...
Bishop is a wonderful friend of mine. We met at one of my regular cafes after I had finished up making new notes for that day, and he was curious as to what I was doing. Bishop had a real desire to learn! My butterflies really liked him too, so I kept inviting him to meet me after my little expeditions. Now it's a regular thing to meet up over a nice cafe meal!
Finnian is such a clever yumenari! He truly knows an immense amount about the natural world. I always look forward to learning from him over a nice hot cup of tea. Truly, not much can beat that! Although we usually meet at the Cafe, I think I should invite them to my home sometime- offer some home made tea and cakes. I am certain he would enjoy it. Maybe he wouldn't mind me showing him some chess tricks or music theory...?
I'm happy to call Cyrus a friend of mine. He has a very warm and welcoming vibe to him, and I know the butterflies enjoy spending time with him as much as I do. If I'm not in the teahouse refining my notes and sharing my newest notes with Cyrus, then I'm hanging out with him while he gardens! Sometimes I help out, but only when he invites me to. I'd hate to ruin any of his hard work.
🌤️ [Friends] "I enjoy Finn's company a lot, actually! The drawings he does as well as all the neat little butterflies are just an added bonus. It's nice being around people that enjoy spending time outdoors. I don't know a better feeling that being able to stretch and feel the sun rays hit my fur. Then again, I say that with just about everything.." -Laughs-
Aaaah, such a delicate beauty... A flash of light on the delicate moth's wing, though its colors may be muted, it shows a demure and natural charm... Such rich and beautiful eyes could drag a man from the grave for one longing glance. Finnian, a natural beauty more alluring than any light- Be it the light of life, or of salvation, I would rather find his hands pressed into mine...
