History
To Amorous his past before he met his Beloved was akin to living life without the sun. Most of the time he refrains from talking about his childhood, not however, out of any trauma more because it's just not important anymore to him. What is commonly known however is his families involvement in running the East Merchants Organization, and being of semi-noble blood due to that. He also speaks of multiple siblings but he is out of contact with them now.
Amor encountered his Beloved during a trip to the Underdark with his family as before he had met them, he wanted nothing more than to be named heir of his families company. Their encounter was swift and simple but he was taken with them, and he wasn't seen by his family again for almost 8 years as he studied occult magic with his Beloved. Presumed dead from the various monsters inhabiting the Underdark, he spent all his time with his Beloved, time that he is vague about, only giving people horrifying anecdotes that he recalls with a fond smile on his face. His world view was changed no longer did he care for most human things, only what his Beloved needed. Of course not all moments are to last and during an event that separated him from his Beloved, Amorous was forced to once again return to society.
Returning to his family as little more than a ghost wearing the skin of what was once their child, Amor was slowly isolated from them. His new personality was deemed uncanny, and 'I swear there is something wrong with his head' was a common phrase in the house. It was during this time that he continued on his Beloved's dark magic research in hope that when they meet again, they would be proud. His continued studies of the occult led him to become an specialized investigator following rumors and requests for a good mystery to solve.
Personality
Everything Amor feels is hidden behind a smug self-satisfied smile and a usually chipper personality. It takes quite a lot to kill his mood and even when it does happen that smile does not fade, though it may become strained. The source of his euphoria comes from a deep connection to his own power as a sorcerer, powers that he received because of his Beloved. To him, the feats he can accomplish are proof of his Beloved eternal love. As such, its incredibly hard to feel anything else when constantly surrounded by the embrace of his magic. Non of his outward disposition can change the fact that Amorous is at his core a very vain and arrogant man. He takes pride in knowing that he was the one worthy of his Beloved and that he can do things others cannot.
When he opens his mouth his true personality is revealed. Morbid thoughts and innuendos litter his speech as he cheerfully delivers what may be horrible news or a deeply concerning fact, worse is that no one can tell if he does it on purpose or not. Whether this is from his extreme isolation from human society or not it is still cruel, only recently has Amor realized that there are much better ways to tell someone such things and he is slowly attempting to think before he speaks of horrors beyond comprehension. Combining all of those quirks with a fascination of tentacles and dark magic, you get an unnerving individual.

Appearance
While Amorous may be a tiefling parts of his dark elf parentage still show through, little may they be. His silver-white hair and tilting eyes are the only proof of his heritage. Dark branching antlers stand out starkly against his pale hair and his red skin convey a demonic origin. His broad shoulders slim down to a small waist and a small duel colored grey-white tail reminiscent of a deers.
Thick scar like gashes lay across is left side often covered by his patch, the gashes open to reveal a multitude of deformed eyes of bright color. They glow when he channels his magic and more seem to bloom as he grows stronger. His silver hair carries accents of a grey-blue as it loops around onto itself. Three loops fall from his left side which he ties into the knot of his ponytail. The thick ponytail curls inwards onto itself as it reaches the middle of his back.
More often than not Amor prefers to wear pinks and purples with small accents of a lime green, tentacle like accents reach up his sleeves starting from the cuffs. Belts wind around his small waist framing his figure, clipped to the lower one is a chain connecting to a silver lantern. A shoulder cape drapes down his left side as the neck of it bunches around his throat reaching his chin, it has a gradient from a magenta to a dark purple, and bright pink tendrils cover the rest of the piece.

Relationships

Amor is madly stupidly in love with the entity he refers to as his Beloved. Little is known about their appearance and personality but every fact suggests something otherworldly.
